TWC Services Acquires S&S Refrigeration in San Antonio, Texas

DES MOINES, Iowa (Sept. 22, 2025) – TWC Services is thrilled to announce its acquisition of S&S Refrigeration, a leading commercial HVAC and refrigeration service company in San Antonio, Texas. S&S Refrigeration is owned and operated by Scott Stromboe and Felix Smolensky, who founded the company in 2018.

Adding S&S Refrigeration to the team will allow us to deliver value to even more clients throughout the region.”

The S&S Refrigeration team will join the existing TWC Services branch in San Antonio. Stromboe will take on the role of service manager in the San Antonio market.

This is TWC Services’ fourth acquisition in 2025 and its fifth overall in Texas. In January, the company acquired Pro Refrigeration’s Austin location, in February Around the Clock Equipment Service in Charlotte, and in June Complete Maintenance Solutions in Dallas-Fort Worth.
